Jonesin' for Cake's 1st Annual CAKE AUCTION

A cake auction?! YEP! A new and fun way of ordering your next celebration cake! The cake auction starts on January 6th, 9am Est time and will run for two weeks ending, January 20th, 2014, 9am EST. There will be 6 cakes to choose from including a Baby Shower Cake, Mother's Day cake, Father's Day cake, 2 wedding cakes and a Groom's Cake. PLUS there will be the opportunity to purchase our signature hand crafted costumed fondant babies for $5. All proceeds from the babies will go towards the Children's Hospital here in London, Ontario.

I am posting below the terms & agreement of this cake auction. If you choose to bid on any of our cakes, you automatically have agreed to the terms and conditions. Take a read! :)

TERMS & CONDITIONS 

Jonesin' for Cake is introducing a fun and engaging way to order your next big celebration cake!   

The auction is designed to give everyone an opportunity to bid on a CUSTOM or pre designed cakes created by Jonesin' for Cake. There will be 6 Cakes on auction;   Baby Shower Cake Mother's Day Cake Father's Day Cake Wedding cake #1 Wedding cake #2 Groom's Cake   Each cake is priced individually with their own custom package. No changes to the package may be made. Customers must bid in the increments requested with no limit to each bid. Jonesin' for Cake will set a reserve price. A reserve is the lowest price at which we are willing to sell the custom cake.  If a bidder doesn’t meet that price, Jonesin' for Cake is not obliged to sell the custom cake. If the reserve price has not been met at the end of closing time, the highest bidder has the option of meeting the reserve price or declining. Jonesin' for Cake has the final decision on all cake designs. All cake orders must have a deposit paid in order to be scheduled and to continue with design plans. All deposits are non-refundable. All booking dates are based on availability in 2014. If the date of the highest bidder is taken, they may reschedule. If a booking date cannot be made the highest bidder loses their bid and the cake is given to next highest bidder.    Each cake will have a starting bid of 30% of the Retail value.    

The auction will run for2 weeks. The event will start January 6th 9am and run until January 20th, 2014 9pm, Eastern Standard Time.  The Mother's Day and Father's day cakes have specific booked dates. The Baby shower cake, and both wedding cakes may have a booked date of the highest bidders choice. If a booking date cannot be decided upon, the cake is given to the next highest bidder. No cake will be placed in lay a way. A deposit is required from the HIGHEST bidder on January 20th, 2014 in order to book the cake with Jonesin' for Cake. The amount of deposit is 50% of the final cake price. If the highest bid does NOT claim the cake, the cake will go to the next highest bid.   

A final cake contract will be made up of the winning cake. Contract must be signed and agreed upon by both parties.    Auction is opened to all of Ontario Residents. Delivery is available with additional cost.    Jonesin' for Cake accepts all major credit cards, paypal and interac email transfers.   

For every participant who bids, their name will be entered into a draw for a chance to win a $50.00 Gift Certificate from Jonesin' for Cake.
